Our client is a technology consultancy that specialise in supporting major IT initiatives in the Public and Defence Sectors and having recently won a major piece of work to deliver a fully managed Enterprise Architecture function they are looking to hire a number of Enterprise Architecture Consultants to support this piece of work and deliver on other high profile accounts with a healthy and growing pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:

EA Frameworks - using industry standard frameworks to help support and grow Architecture Capability.

Business Improvement - assessing the performance of various business lines and operations, design of new business practices & recommending improvements, capability modelling, TOM's.

Enterprise Architecture Planning - leveraging proven EA methodology and toolsets to develop actionable enterprise architecture.

Architecture Governance - provide guidance and leadership to clients on how to leverage actionable EA to make, carry out and enforce the right IT decisions.

Application Portfolio Optimization - assess application consolidation/optimization opportunities across multiple business functions and technology platforms.
Essential Experience:
-
EA frameworks - TOGAF, MODAF, NAF.

Use of Architecture Modelling Tools such as MEGA, Enterprise Architect, MOOD and System Architect

Experience in developing Architecture capability within an organization
-
System Analysis Methods such as RUP, UML, etc.

Software Development Methods such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
-
Project and Programme Management Methds (Prince2, etc.)
Education:
Minimum 2:1 in a relevant technical subject such as Computer Science, Physics, Maths or Engineering
